Salman Khan exits Mumbai airport with heavy security

During the wee hours of Thursday, September 19, Salman Khan was snapped at the Mumbai airport heading to a then-undisclosed location. Now, just 2 days later, he is back in the city and that too surrounded by heavy security. It can be assumed that his security detail has been tightened owing to the threats his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan received the same day he flew to the UAE.

Dressed in a blue shirt and black trousers, Salman appeared calm as he made his way from the arrival gate to his car. He however didn’t stop to pose for the paparazzi, shutterbugs or fans present at the location. His heightened security was noted keeping the public away from the star. Watch the video here:

For the unversed, on Thursday, reports surfaced that a burqa-clad woman approached Salim during his morning walk at Mumbai’s Carter Road and threatened him with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s name. The Bandra – while stating the incident appears to have been a prank, have booked the individual and are tracing them.

This isn’t the first time Salman Khan or his family has been at the receiving end of threats – including those on their lives. In April this year, two individuals opened fire at Salman Khan’s Bandra house allegedly at the behest of the above-mentioned gangster’s gang.
